How I created my perfect work-from-home happy place.

In November 2020, the motherboard of my laptop fried. So I finally had an excuse to buy the desktop that I had been dreaming of.
“I need it for school” is what I told my fiance. Right… I definitely needed a graphics card for “school work”.
This fateful event led me to the completion of a workstation that I have been meticulously working towards over the last three years. This is a chronicle of all the improvements I made along the way.
Humble Beginnings
Well… not so humble.
When I moved into my first apartment I picked up a desk for $30 on Facebook Marketplace. (Cough… the desk I still have)
Whatever, it was a steal of a deal.
Confronted with the choice of getting a desktop or a laptop, I made a CRUCIAL MISTAKE.
